We are having to close the registration of interest for Beauty and the Beast with immediate effect, due to the number of requests we have received. Anyone who has already registered their interest, either in person or via the website form, will be notified of a half hour time slot during which their audition will take place. 

A massive thank you to everyone who has registered their interest. 

If you wish to take part in "Beauty And The Beast" you need to register your interest in auditioning, whether for a principal or ensemble part, using the form below or in person at a rehearsal night. The closing date for registering your interest is Wednesday 13th May.

Principal auditions will be held on Tuesday 19th May at the Parish Hall from 7.30pm (you will be allocated a time slot)
Ensemble auditions, if required, will be held on Sunday 17th May at the Parish Hall from 7.30pm (you will be allocated a time slot)

We had a fabulous night at the Last Drop last night where the annual NODA District 5 awards were presented. More than 30 WCAODS members were there to witness our amazing achievement of FIVE awards across our productions. The winners were:

Best Supporting Female Character in a Youth Musical - Matthew Shallicker (Miss Trunchbull in Matilda Jr.)
Best Vocal Performance - Louise Gaffney (Esmeralda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Shining Star - Olivia O'Connell (Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act & Clopin in The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Best Director - Steve Benson (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Best Musical - The Hunchback of Notre Dame

We've now won the Best Musical award two years in succession - a testament to the quality of WCAODS's productions and all the hard work contributed by everyone in the society. 

Congratulations to all our winners and nominees. The winners will go forward to the NODA North West awards in May!
